Hinduism! A Religion, or a philosophy?

What is Hinduism? First and foremost, it is one of the three ideologies stemming from Sanatana Dharma, the eternal truth. My exploration of ancient history, geopolitics, and many pilgrimages within India has led me to examine 'Hinduism' in relation to other ideologies. As an agnostic of Hindu descent, I approached my theories from a historical, scientific, and political perspective, striving to maintain an unbiased approach. Personally, I do believe in a higher power, not as a being, but as an incomprehensible energy. Similar to Hinduism's notion of creation, I conceive that some form of energy (Shakti) and time (Kali) created nature, science, and logic, giving rise to our reality.
The terms Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confusim and Jainism as belief systems really came into light during the Eastern Han Civilization, the Mauryan civilization, coming from the North West and Cholas native to the Indian continent known as Dravidian civilizations, which were the first recorded Indian Empire. They organically evolved from the native tribal religions, which then unitified and became Sanatana Dharma, blending knowledge (Vedas and Myth aka art) or what the West Christened it in the 18th century as Hinduism. Today, many Hindus believe Vedic tales such as the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas are part of Indian history, Itihasa as it is known. Today because of the advance in tech and knowledge being open source, they are more exacavation proving Krishna's (Vasudeva or Nathan) existence as a venerated person; his coins were found from Greece all the way to Ancient Rome. Nonetheless, we do not have enough archeological evidence to support the folktales, such as the Mahabharata or Ramayan, yet we keep discovering things that alter the proposed timeline, and the moral message still applies today: the Bhagavat Gita. Fictional for now, yet these texts are way longer than any Abrahamic text ever existed, and were composed during a similar period; this shows the intellectual advancement of that civilization on a historical level.
